Pastor Brad Hales
For Pastor Brad, “It’s all about Jesus!”
Brad Hales is the long-time pastor of Reformation. A native of Delta, Ohio, Pastor Brad has also served churches in Maryland and Upstate New York. He has worked for the national office of the North American Lutheran Church, and has served on several county and non-profit boards. Pastor Hales is married to Lisa, a teacher in the Culpeper County Schools, and has two older daughters and grandchildren.
Named the 2012 Culpeper Times Citizen of the Year, Hales also serves on the Culpeper Human Services Board and is the Dean of the Virginia Mission District of the North American Lutheran Church.
With a passion for God’s Word, outreach and senior adult ministry, Pastor Hales helped to start “The Place,” a daily “drop in” center for older adults in the Culpeper community. In 2009, Reformation Lutheran Church received the “Best Practices Award” in senior adult ministry by the National Council on Aging.
