Seventh Sunday after Pentecost – July 3, 2016
The Scriptures for today emphasize the reality of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Either the Gospel and the person who proclaims it are accepted, or the Word and the messenger are rejected. There is no in between. As followers of Christ, we are called to share the message of salvation and offer a sign of peace to every person we come in contact with — but we won’t always receive a blessing in return.
Readings this week: Isaiah 66:10-14; Psalm 66:1-7; Galatians 6:1-10, 14-18; Luke 10:1-20
