RLC’s annual Thanksgiving Eve Worship
Wednesday, November 23 at 12 Noon & 7 pm

This is an opportunity for us to give thanks and praise to God for all His blessings. Most importantly, the blessing of his Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The service will include singing, confession, scripture reading, prayer and Holy Communion. As Paul writes in I Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Rejoice always, pray unceasingly, give thanks in all circumstances for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. On this Thanksgiving, let us give thanks to God!

Got Coats? Got Jackets?

Men’s Ministry is having their annual coats/jackets donation drive. This is for needy children, women, and men in the community who would appreciate your remembering them at this time. A special drop-off bin is located by the church office. Donation form for a tax deduction is readily available for you, too.

Please pass that request to Wayne Baker, Carl Barb, or Morris Foster of Men’s Ministry. We appreciate your support of this cold weather need in our community!

The Vote Jesus Campaign

The “Vote Jesus!” Campaign

Thank you for visiting our website and exploring the “Vote JESUS!” Campaign!

The results of the upcoming election may not be known, but there is one result that is already in. There is one result that can be authenticated.  There is one result that is true and forever. That result is Jesus Christ!

Jesus is the Son of the living God.  He came into the world with God’s power to heal, to forgive, to strengthen, and to give us hope.

Because God loves us so much, He sent Jesus to die on a cross, shed blood, and rise from the dead so we could be saved of our sins and have that promise, that guarantee, of life forever with God.

Through a free gift of faith, we can believe in Jesus, cling to Jesus, and open our hearts to Jesus.  And the results will remain the same – Everlasting life!

In God’s Word we read about God’s great love for us in Jesus Christ –

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son (Jesus) that all those who believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.”

I John 4:10 –  “This is what love is: it is not that we have loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son (Jesus) to be the means by which our sins are forgiven.”

Romans 8:38-39 –  “For I am certain that nothing can separate us from His love:  neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the future, neither the world above nor the world below – there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This is why we invite you to “Vote JESUS!”

Please look through our website and consider worshiping with us at Reformation Lutheran Church.

Weekend Worship Services are held on Saturday Evenings at 6 pm and Sunday Mornings at 8 am & 11 am.  A refreshing, half-hour Midweek Worship is offered on Wednesdays at Noon & 6:30 pm.

Call us at 540  825-1376, or visit us at 509 S. Main St in Culpeper, Virginia.

Come and encounter God’s love in Jesus Christ …
